Airman 1st Class Isaac Ravensdale, Brother Battle

I'm going on vacation soon, and so I wanted to submit this one before I left. In my long line of Fading Suns artwork, here is my character, Airman Isaac Ravensdale from Brother Battle. I said in a previous post that when the writers created the game, they expected every member of BB to be different variations on a space paladin (or to be as close to a Jedi Knight without violating any copyrights). But I was thinking, "Somebody has to get these guys to the battlefield, and besides, I want to fly all the cool spaceships!" I was playing a ton of StarCraft 2 at the time, and I proposed to my GM that my guy be a pilot. Since he was a "first level character," Isaac would get his first wings as a dropship pilot, and as the campaign goes on, he'd get to fly bigger and badder spaceships and planes (holding out for something akin to an X-wing or Banshee, of course).

So what went into this character, aside from an urge to fly things? His name is an obscure reference to Mass Effect 2, where a drill sergeant is grilling his cadets that, "Isaac Newton is the most dangerous sonuvabitch in the universe!" "Ravensdale" came from a family name database and it includes a bird. The pet parrot is named "Tom Birdo" (after Tom Servo from MST 3000), and spouts random quotes and lines from various sci-fi movies, TV shows, and video games ("Set phasers on stun. Set phasers on stun!") AS you can tell, I have a lot of fun playing this guy.
